I spent the entire week AFTER the last week of school to move into my new classroom. Boss called me 2 weeks after that to tell me that I'm not getting my own classroom and will still be doing what I usually do next year.

Pros: less planning, less parent face time, same salary as a regular teacher
Cons: being thrown into random classrooms for 2 months at a time that aren't even my own

I hope I still have a jerb next month.

Conclusion: I could go for some Wendy's chix nugs.

I was so motivated about getting my own classroom that I volunteered to be in this stupid book club that is meeting in a couple days. I haven't even purchased the stupid book and I am wondering how to get out of it.

All of this happens as my boyfriend purchases a "fixer-upper" house that he will constantly be wrenching on. Why spend 10k more on a move-in ready house that won't drive you to the loony bin? That would be ridiculous!
