I work in a production facility of 4000 people. I have worked in Germany and Australia and worked for a Japanese company (Sony) and worked WITH all types of ethic groups. The Germans that I worked with in the the US noticed the problem. I always find myself defending Americans to them because I am American but they are right.
Francis. How old are you? Do you have any experience in the matter? Have you been in the work force where hard work in a requirement? Where physical hard work because of lack of education is a requirement? We don't have many people in the country that are willing to do this. We slack off and place blame. we are defensive. I always liked sitting in a meeting with Germans because they seriously hash **** out. Feelings are set aside and the problems are attempted to be solved.
A typical meeting with Americans is how to pass the buck. If my experience was with one company or limited in years than I wouldn't give much stock to my own feeling but I've seen it far too long. fwiw I have been in the workforce for 23 years.
