Ya no kidding. I've never said that all Americans are. I am generalizing. The typical American wants **** handed to them doing the least possible to get it. Hit the ****ing lottery!!! We still have GREAT minds at work here as evidenced by Google, Apple, Microsoft etc.

I work with most blue collar Americans and it's a conversation we have a lot. How lazy we have gotten. Although some of them are hypocrites when they talk about the subject.

I work in a production facility of 4000 people. I have worked in Germany and Australia and worked for a Japanese company (Sony) and worked WITH all types of ethic groups. The Germans that I worked with in the the US noticed the problem. I always find myself defending Americans to them because I am American but they are right.

Francis. How old are you? Do you have any experience in the matter? Have you been in the work force where hard work in a requirement? Where physical hard work because of lack of education is a requirement? We don't have many people in the country that are willing to do this. We slack off and place blame. we are defensive. I always liked sitting in a meeting with Germans because they seriously hash **** out. Feelings are set aside and the problems are attempted to be solved.

A typical meeting with Americans is how to pass the buck. If my experience was with one company or limited in years than I wouldn't give much stock to my own feeling but I've seen it far too long. fwiw I have been in the workforce for 23 years.

i am as blue collar as they come. I work in a 100% union company, from manufacture to delivery to installation is all 100% union and american made. I hear you when you talk about lazy americans, i see them all the time. I see guys wait 15 minutes for the elevator hoist to go up 1 floor instead of walking their fat ass 30 yards and going up the stairs. There are guys in the union who think they are entitled to super high wage, but don't want to bust their ass for it at all. But this is the minority, not the majority. The majority of our union is very hard working guys; my union is based out of baltimore. A lot of these guys drive an hour an a half every day to get to work at 7am. Meaning they wake up at like 4:30 or something, to get to work at 7, and dont get home till like 6:30. Try that life out sometime and get back to me on how easy it is for ya.
