lol peli, i thought about you IRL today. i am clearing out storage buildings of junk (baby clothes, old toys, etc.) and getting ready for a huge yard sale. one of the boxes i opened today had a doll like this:

was my little boy's favorite thing in the world about 6 years ago

They aren't the hardest workers by a long shot. Their work ethic is about the same as Americans. It was kind of a lack of basic skills that caught my attention.

Our pitiful education system does not help any. It encourages laziness. The typical student can make it through the education system and not learn a damn thing. And the school corporations are mostly concerned with getting them to pass standardized tests.

I was impressed with the German system...what I know of it.
