get norton antivirus or something to that effect. paying for antivirus software is well worth the 70 bucks / year imo.

that is a bitch to get rid of. it's in your registry os.

have you started in safe mode yet? google the virus name and download a script that will stop it from running while in safe mode. then use a virus scan while still in safe mode. might clear it out.

it may have attached itself to your user account too so try loggin in as another user.

most of the nasty stuff the antivirus stuff will not help with - not once it is already there... malwarebytes kills a ton of stuff

but seriously... firefox with noscript and ad blockplus ftw

How did you "zap" it? Did you find a registration code on an anti-malware website?
