I think the whole world has gone acronym happy. They are supposed to make things easier and uncluttered, but I think drug companies just making names for stuff up has led to this acronym for everything vibe. Well...that and 13 year old girls texting.

Someone at work is leaving, so all thirty of us "encouraged" to "donate" two dollars to get her a custom red velvet cake for her going away, as it is apparently her favorite and it's apparently expensive and tough to get in Italy. Well, there was no red velvet cake, just a cheap commissary cake that had "$12.99" still on the box and someone had put the words "SIMULATED RED VELVET CAKE" on it, which is a military joke. True story.

Anyway, I think I should ask for my two bucks back.
