No joking/sarcasm but pretty sure tons of futurists/environmentalists have recommending replacing huge amounts of humanity's modern protein intake from meat to insects. Come back to humanity in 50-200 years and you might find insect-based food staples to be quite popular. People make smoothies, protein bars, stuff that's like oatmeal but obviously made with crickets instead of oats. It's not like traditional flour that you can bake and fry and slap some butter and sugar on and have it turn out to be tasty pastries and ****. It's more like a protein powder.

The way I figure it, you can buy one Nordstrom rock in a leather pouch for $85 and keep it forever or get the cheap model at Target and have to replace it every winter.
