Come back to humanity in 50-200 years and you might find insect-based food staples to be quite popular. Crickets for instance are a high quality source of protein and need six times less feed than cattle.

WHOA - you mean cricket flour is made of crickets? I thought is was food for your crickets! Christ, I feel like a monster.

I was aware of all that, but one question stills remains: What exactly do you do with cricket flour? Do you bake cricket bread? Cricket donuts? Cricket pancakes, waffles?

Sort of. It's not like traditional flour.

People make smoothies, protein bars, stuff that's like oatmeal but obviously made with crickets instead of oats. It's not like traditional flour that you can bake and fry and slap some butter and sugar on and have it turn out to be tasty pastries and ****. It's more like a protein powder.

Pretty stoked; my moms got me an autographed copy of Kareem Abdul Jabbar's book. Another fine addition to my collection.

You could have just said " I don't wear conversation pieces" and kept it at that. Actually no offense but I think it's pretty dumb too.

The way I figure it, you can buy one Nordstrom rock in a leather pouch for $85 and keep it forever or get the cheap model at Target and have to replace it every winter.
