Already said this but I have weekly goals, not daily. My advice is when you are going to miss some days, or weeks even, you need to allocate that missed play to another time period and be strict about making it up. Otherwise before you know it you will be at 500k with three months left.
- Do you think stars are likely to cut VPP accumulation for FR next year in a big way?
It looks like they are going to alter their proposed changes to help out the small / micro stakes players. However it is my understanding that midstakes + will actually benefit from the changes.
- Whats the single best bit of poker advice you have ever been given?
Meh, I don't really have an answer for this one. I guess I can say that reading The Poker Mindset was technically advice, so I will say that is the best I have gotten.
- What helped you most in your poker career, ie 2+2, training sites, other players you know, coaching etc?
2+2 mainly, but also volume, volume volume.
- What stakes gave you the most trouble when first moving up to it?
Midstakes (2/4, 3/6) for sure. But I really really sucked then. I was a marginal winner at 1/2 when I moved up. Moving up to 5/10 and 10/20 didn't give me much trouble in terms of skill. However, I couldn't stomach the swings involved with 24 tabling and playing those stakes.
really enjoying this well, thanks for your time

Do you like programming, or poker better? Do you use your programming skills to help you with poker?

I already answered this.
I am by no means a HU player. I have, however been starting tables a lot lately and I really think it helps my game. I really only do this at the beginning of my session though unless a fish joins.

I don't like either that much really. I just really like money, lol. I play poker for money right now, where I make way more than I make at my job. However, I have potential to lock in a career of making way more if we can build a successful system here, which I think we can. Either way, I will know in a year or so if we can make it in this business so I might have an easy choice then.

Thanks man.

Mickey D's. I don't really like Burger King's Fries that much. Their burgers are probably better but that's about it.

Actually, I'm thinking about it right now. Every day I dislike the U.S. government and the people running it more and more. I am not anywhere near actually doing anything about it, but I just think the whole thing is a joke. Anyways, I would probably move to London or something because I could speak English and not pay taxes on poker winnings.

I don't trade personally. I feel as though what I do with poker is volitile enough as an investment. Instead I decided to save for a condo downtown which I bought this year. I think it is a good investment. I do, however, max out my 401k. I am in like 6 different funds but most are small cap value. As for the rest of what I will make in the next couple of years, I'm thinking about buying up some real estate around the city and making some money that way. Not sure yet though.

Do you sometime call small 4bet with junks ? If yes, how does it feel when you stack your opponent with T6o ?

Pretty much never. I very rarely flat four bets. Maybe once a week or so.

Ugh, this is my point exactly. I can't even fathom the level of stupidity that it takes to come up with a program like this. Everyone should have a cell phone, it should be a right, put it in the constitution.

Re: **** The Well - ZepHendrix ****
I've long thought of trading stocks/futures/etc to be similar to playing poker and have explained so to some friends, but I wonder if there's anything else in life that is also similar? These transferrable skills(eg. dealing with daily swings, rapid assessment of table/market conditions, aware of image/market position, etc etc) could be put on the resume to look good.
Question: Have you thought of swapping advice with higher stakes players for their free coaching vs your financial management advice? I think you are in a unique position to do so, since some of them probably have no clue how to manage their profits.

London is incredibly expensive and probably right down the list of poker lifestyle destinations... there is a reason a lot of ssnl/msnl balla's live in a place like Thailand for eg. But the good thing about London is how many countries/continents you can fly to for cheap given the budget airlines that run outta there.
