starting to make the transition to the T/T games in my room - sorry if this is a trivial spot but curious about peoples' thoughts.

Hero (sb, $2k) - young 20s
V (utg+1, $1.8k) - late 20/early 30s - bad reg; thinks he's a good reg (talking theory at the table). has stacked off to KK pre and set otf ~70-80bb each but no showdown either time by him; no history with hero

utg straddle
V limp, Mp limp
Hero $100 AhQs in sb.
V calls

$260
Flop Ad8c4c
Hero bet $160; V calls

$580
Turn Qc
Hero bet $240; V calls

$1060
River 4x
Hero bet $390

having a tough time coming up with a reasonable l/c range for him - is going for 3 streets here fine or too thin? thoughts on sizing throughout?

Looks good. Agreed that I'm not sure what kind of hand range he shows up with here that he limp calls from UTG+1. Low pocket pairs, Ax suited. Think you played it well and I like your river bet size since I doubt he calls more with bare Ax which I think is the most likely hand you'd get value from. I don't think it's too thin to v-bet river at all.

Your line is fine, OP.

But, we are playing against a bad reg who is stuck and probably tilted. Anyone else like checking the turn/river to induce bluffs? I'm never folding our hand to this guy.

Line is fine and agree on river sizing.

Utg l/c range is small pocket pairs and Axs, maybe middling suited connectors. I'm value betting vs Ax here

I guess my main concern about this possibly being too thin is that half of his Axs hands are flushes / wasn't sure how much other Ax he would have in his range after l/c pre

little bigger pre. cking turn against steamy ****ty reg is prob a little better, if you decide to double i like a little bigger and river sizing depends on if you decide to split your range into two sizes (40-60%) and pot-jam. assuming one size for all hands that get to the river smallish seems fine (you have almost no bluffs fwiw)

seems fine. id go a little bigger pre (120), turn (300), and river (500). wouldnt hate a turn check either

What bluffs do we have here that villain would feel compelled to call with his weak Ax? Ax is a bluff catcher facing 3 barrels from the PFR

Anyway nh op. Betting turn is almost mandatory for value /protection.

thanks guys - he ended up tank/nit-rolling me with k3cc so wasn't sure if I was way off on his calling range here
