Op- what color did you have? Who was villain?

And don't feel bad. I lost 12k just the other day on red or black to some whale at commerce. Didn't even register really since I always lose about that much to him on stuff like that.

I always choose black. Apparently every time I walked away from the table after each bet to contemplate WTF I was doing after a great dinner with excellent food/(too much) wine/company, the board was all black every time. Waaaa waaaa!!

Honestly red is the better side, I had to learn the hard way too.

What restaurant? I've gotten pretty hooked on Maestros out there.

Clearly red is the way to go, but I'm not switching sides at this point, **** that! Never been to Maestros. Went to Olives at Bellagio, had a double date with my wife and a mutual friend (he recently moved to Vegas from LA and told me all the degens posting in this thread are commerce regs) and his girlfriend. Won the CCR for a pretty sizable tab, zero sweat there. Came to the poker room to play some drunk 1/3 NL with the ladies. Sans the 12K loss, was a fine evening indeed...

Actually just finishing up my accounting for the year. Is it weird that 70% of my profits this year were from red black or is that pretty standard?

You all may recall that we had a DGAF-started discussion last year about how to win at red and black. I don't recall gman posting in that thread but clearly we need to hear about the winning strategy.

I once had red and went 3-21 with 7 of the 21 all three black which we were playing as a double. He quit and left after the 24 decision, which was good because I am sure it was going to get worse.

If you guys are talking "mastro's", that place is the absolute stone cold nuts, and I know my way around steak houses. Every night I am not having a bone in Rib Eye at Mastro's it makes me a little sad on the inside.

This happened today. A player in the 10/20 main game was offering varying amounts of vig on red or black. Luckily I was in the must move game and didn't really know what was going on. Anyway, they flipped a few times for different amounts (the last one was for 25K) and the "corporation" of various players ended up losing 7.5Kish overall. Beal and his buddies being in town might have inspired some of this nonsense. Anyway, my red or black career is on hold for the time being. It's gotta be painful to turn down vig though...

Can't think right now. Is the over/under on a flop A82?

(Can't beat red/black obv)

I got K85, and you marginally want the under.

13^3 combos = 2197

13 trips
3*13*12 paired boards
3*12*11 hands with a single ace
6*10 KQx
6*9 KJx
6*8 KTx
6*7 K9x
6 K87
6 K86
6 K85

= 1099 combos

Sweet. Ty. I knew my guess was awful but too sleep deprived to think. Can't wait!
