Flop (150) T 3 5 ch to me I cbet 85 all call

mp is fishy grinder who would flat fd here, about 35yo who has been playing a lot of Borgata 5 10 lately (twice a week) but has getting crushed (heard hes down 15k in past month)
bb is retired cop, pretty straight fwd usually, if has a tough decision while hu usually announces it to get feel of reaction
utg is restaurateur whom im not worried about against straight fwd nit

Turn (490) A sb ch, utg leads for 150, I think and flat, mp folds, bb flats

River (940) K sb check, utg ship for remaining 300ish, action on hero w bb behind..

pot is now 1200,

sb is only one has hero covered at table

I am raising more pre flop if the table has been loose and calling a lot.

I am betting closer to $110 on the flop.

I am probably raising to turn to get more action from AK, AQ, AJ and some random suited broadway hands that pick up on gutshot on the turn.

I am calling river here getting 4-1.

I think the big mistake here is the turn, it is tough to justify calling the turn bet and then folding river getting 4-1.

Don't see much merit to doing anything but calling and folding to a raise from BB.

Clicking back turn is an option I guess, but meh. I like the way you played it.

I'd usually raise 40-50 pre (but depends on 3bet dynamics at the table), bet 110 on flop, raise turn to 475 / Call any, Call almost any bet / Check river

As played, call bet / not sure about potential shove from retired cop as we massively underep our hand. Need more info on this cop, just incase he desk pops!

super trivial river call as he can and will have worse value combos hes betting, ofc he can show you some random hands that beat you, but with the pot odds and the amount of his value range that you beat, its a really easy +ev call

I don't know, "retired cop" scares me a bit. I mean is he really value shoving worse often enough? Seems like the only hands he could do this with that we beat are A3s and A5s. Yes the odds are attractive but only because we misplayed the turn and seriously under-repped our hand.

I guess its a call getting 4-1 but I would venture to bet is much closer to 0 EV than most of us think.

Not many parts of your range that want to find a turn raise and when u do your range is insanely strong and halfway decent hand reading villains will fold bluffs and worse hands

The problem with flatting the turn is that we are giving the other 2 guys in the hand an insane price to peel off any draws that they have......I think there's enough out there that we should be raising turn to protect our equity and get it in vs utg.

Yea I'm tottaly fine with shipping and with it be multiway ya it's maybe better (I don't play a ton of full ring) But letting each of them chuck in some money with naked fds and only one card to come isn't that bad a result either

Yeah turn is bad, just stick the money in and be surprised by what calls you (a lot)
