Preflop may be bad but my main concern is giving him a river range. All thoughts appreciated.

Re: Overshove on the river from donk

the turn check is so suspicious because hed never take this line as a bluff.

looks like he is trapping on the turn tbh, then when he realizes he hasnt made the pot big enough, he still shoves the river. 64 or 44 maybe

in general fish dont shove 2x pot on the river as a bluff, if he potted the river i think its an easy call though.

Re: Overshove on the river from donk

in general i would agree that overshoves from fish are usually value.

having said that, this villain could gave up on turn since he didnt pick up any decent card for his hand, then decided that hero now must be fairly weak, and then decides to blow hero off of midpair or even a weaker Ax type hand.

i wouldnt fold vs this guy here. If he got lucky he got lucky. He could have 6x some but his MO was to raise early with garbage.

this is all true as well. this guy is just so erratic that i couldnt fold but i agree the turn chk, river shove is not a great sign coming from a fish.

Im still calling this one too.

Re: Overshove on the river from donk

I think he can bluff the river but just not as a shove.

Don't think he will shove worse for value, chop is worth 150 to risk 600.

These pot type guys are usually most transparent when they are not betting pot.

This. I can't believe that we aren't good a lot of the time here so I can't fold.

Re: Overshove on the river from donk

I mean this is definitely a strong line - in a vacuum with no reads like first hand at the table, I might opt to fold, but not after that 49s hand.

Re: Overshove on the river from donk

49s hand isn't that relevant imo except that it clarifies he is awful

i wud think he can shove a hand like Ax on the river i mean why not we shud like never hv AK so he thinks its a chop at worst, i think you only lose to exactly KK maybe 44 i'm suprised anyone folds here tbh i snap and expect to be good at least 80% of the time

I agree that he can have Ax, but I really doubt he is thinking this ^
