Re: *** Official PokerStars 2012 Regulars Thread ***

If the whole point of WC is it's more fair, why is the rake capped at $3 like Sparky is saying.

I don't see how it's fair at all that a $60 pot is raked $3, and a $60,000 pot is also raked $3.

i agree WTA is better, but that's from a selfish standpoint, and it seems like it will damage the number of tables over time.
WC seems like the epitome of 'fair', u get back what u put it..
What if WTA puts VPP tokens in the pot? Recreational players might like that. Now the pot is bigger, and the only way to get those points is to win the pot! Just an idea that might make the games better with WTA, but I can't be sure.

I agree, but how would you fix the situation?

Do the new changes hurt nits and are going to make them all disappear? I am so confused by your comment.
explanation- we have different definitions of nit.
I play 70% 6max nowadays

this does sound like a good idea. i'm still concerned about BE regs going busto and less tables existing tho

Slapnuts just made a cameo appearance in the SNE elite thread. I couldn't stop laughing. Maybe I am just mean.

I would love to see the numbers on the effects of capping rake at every level at 4% up to a max of one sb, my gut says that it would hv a very positive impact on the poker ecosystem.

@klaric I think having vpps shown wud be great for games, just doubt you will convince stars to implement wta.

Don't play anymore. But going to check how the new changes affect me. If its more than 20%, may just go back to my old job.
