Mia my black/white husky ruptured her cruciate ligament in not one but both knees yesterday, we were at the park and the screech of agony she let out when it happened pierced through me like nothing I have ever heard before. She is seeing a specialist this week and I dont even think there is a price he could quote that I could ever not snap call. I honestly dont know how people deal with this emotional cloud I feel right now on a daily basis, makes it hard to think.

unless they somehow manage to get a deal allowing them to operate in the US when (if ?) online poker is legalized. In that case, FT's software and database would have tremendous value.... could also explain why they take so long.

everyone with $ in their account has to come back to FT. with bonuses to clear, welcome back promotions, good software, and some sort of faith in new ownership they will retain a decent amount of traffic.

companies selling beer, cigs, energy drinks, and shoes/t-shirt all offer a simple product in a heavily competitive market. what separates companies like adidas, nike and puma is exceptional marketing. if GBT/adidas is aggressively going after market share in the poker industry i like their chances. adidas was struggling when these guys took over and now look at how theyre doing head to head vs nike.

online poker needs guys like GBT to help it get to the next level imo

Regulation in the usa would be the best thing to take it to the next level by far ldo.

I'm thinking of trying to do some kind of large fundraising event/bet/challenge type thing. I would be looking to raise at least 10k preferably more like 25k. Anyone got any good ideas? What type of thing would you be willing to sponsor or bet against me doing?

Few things that might help you come up with ideas -

I smoke weed and sometimes do blow
I don't drink alcohol almost ever (2-3 times a year)
I don't do any form of formal exercise but obv walk my dogs every day.
I am of average height and slim build
I think I have pretty good mental endurance and a pretty high tolerance to pain
I am an okay swimmer
I'm competent at most games I've tried mental and physical
I normally play about 50-70k hands a month

Play 100k hands in a month while drinking an average of one alcoholic drink per hour over the entire month and no weed/blow. All hands must be while running at least 10mph on a tread mill and with a needle stuck into your forehead.
