i also really liked the path. didnt think i would at first but aaron paul does a great job.

also thought night manager (amc/bbc miniseries, hugh laurie is a cold blooded arms dealer) was pretty good.

You are in the nut location for SFla poker. Just go to Palm beach kennel club which is 20 mins north or coconut creek / isle which are 20 mins south.

I never kept track of the home game circuit, only aware of a few big ones that neither you or I will ever get into anyways.

There is also a thread in "live casino poker" in the general section where you might get more feedback for what you are specifically looking for.

But really just go to PBKC.

Make sure to eat at Delray Beer trade while you're there, top 5 restuarant of all time for me.

'stranger things' on netflix surpassed GOT as most popular tv show on imdb. got through first half of season last nite. so far so v.good.

i concur. it's awesome!

wrt GOT, def. fell off last season. also, beginning to really hate cliff hangers and waiting another week. netflix's style of complete season releases is the future of tv viewing.

Anyone following "Bosch" on Amazon? Michael Connelly writes some of the best airplane reading police procedural mysteries going, so decided to check it out.

Direction/scene transitions occasionally seem a little uneven and confusing, but the writing and actors are good and the visuals are nice. In my second "season" of it and will follow.

Also, I just signed up for the first season of "Preacher" - reminds me of the old HBO series Carnivale, which I liked enough to buy. I've only seen one episode of this but looks very promising. Probably not safe for born again christians though

What app is best (wrt anonymity/privacy) for logging poker results and getting graphs, standard deviation, all that? I have a lifetime excel worksheet but wouldn't mind learning more about my results if they could never be made public/traced back to me, if that makes sense. Thanks.

Poker journal used to be ok but it's a disaster since the developer stopped supporting it.

I use run good. Pricey for what it is but smooth/easy to use.

I only saw a little but team bax and "red, red, red!" really made me cringe hard. Maybe I'm just a hater...

Also, God bless the commentators for saying bax should have folded a set hahaha.
