US. Stopped watching it before the last few season but the ones I did watch were really good. I mean William H Macy... come on.

Hmmm, I fell off last season when it was all about politics and less people getting pushed in front of trains. I kept falling asleep. I guess I will try again if I find time.

'Room' is a movie I would never watch, just based on its premise. But one of my friends with nice movie game texted me out of the blue that he had just seen it and it was one of the best movies he's ever seen- and that I should see it ASAP.

I think it was like 30 minutes too long and a tad too "perfect" in spots. Other than that, def def worth seeing imo, and if you aren't moved an insane amount in a couple spots idk what to tell you.

Spoiler:
kids >>>>>>>>>>>>>

Gonna wash it down with a little 'Super Troopers' to clear my head so my dreams won't suck.

yeah, I thought the same thing after a couple episodes, but it gets better really quick. Now I think I like it better than Breaking Bad.

How good are Vegas cash games during wsop season? Is it worth flying from NYC to play 5-10 (maybe 10-25?) for a week?

In my opinion the games around wsop are pretty bad.

I usually come up for a couple of weeks centered around seniors week, and the 10-20 games at Bellagio have been pretty good the last three years at least during the day shift. A lot more grinders on the evening/night shift. I haven't tried the late shift.

Wsop Vegas games are good around the big events imo but the games at home are even better when the pros leave.

Surf,
I hope your rental isn't in Del Mar.
I see they are disallowing short term rentals for the time being.

Is your oldest going to be driving age for the release of the Model 3?

Hey, just saw this.

Solana Beach so all good for now. I don't know for sure but it seems a lot easier for Del Mar to pass something through where there are almost exclusively ocean front homes compared to SB where there are so many condos.

The kid will be driving 2/17. That will be a huge life style change that I am so excited about. Dance studio is a solid 22 minutes traffic free and it gets very tiresome. We will need a bridge vehicle for my wife to drive when the kid inherits her Prius. The 3 is on order but I expect it will be 2018 at the earliest until she gets her 3. Even given priority as a california S holder, it will still be a long time with 300K orders and counting. The car looks sick though and when she saw the unveil she immediately wanted it. I want to get a used model S for her soon but she thinks it is too big and too fast. (I didn't tell her yet that the 3 will be just as fast if not faster since I will be getting the performance model)

Very nice. Good to hear you aren't hurt by the ban.
I remember how thrilled my parents were when I could drive and they didn't have to take me to work or practices. I'm sure it will be a relief, if not a bit stressful.

Anomolisa- I hated it for a while and then ended up really digging it. Anyone else see it?

I tried to like it, but ultimately didn't. Big fan of Kaufman, but this one lost me. It ends up being incredibly narcissistic and just didn't do it for me. Also thought most of the humor was either cliche or just dumb.

I've seen it.......and I've lived it. Many times.

The scene when they're having breakfast the next morning....

Kauffman is a hero of mine. Interesting that this movie wasn't totally his project. He wrote the story as a play, or a radio show, can't remember.

The Big Short- felt pretty pg13 to me (maybe it was lol) but somewhat entertaining.

Black Mass- Jonny Depp actually didn't do it for me. I way more enjoyed the documentary (Whitey).

I was pretty excited to watch Revenant. Birdman for me was goat...

Maybe I just wasn't in the right mood, but I ended up cocking around on my laptop just waiting for it to end. Idk.

Then I put on The Drew with no expectations, and it did everything for me I wanted Revenant to. I forgot where I was, I wasn't thinking about other ****/I was totally focused and I felt some stuff... Highly recommend- especially if you like basketball/LA.
