I raise 88 in the co to 60 bu calls sb calls. Flops T87ss sb leads for 140 I make it 400 bu calls(covers everyone) sb calls(has me covered). Turn is a 2s sb checks I check w 1600 behind bu bets 700 into 1400 now sb CR to 1600. What's the right math on this? There's 1400 in the middle plus bu 700 and sb 1600 for a total of 3700. So I have to call 1600 to win 3700(+1000 if bu calls). We got one card to go and we're a 4:1(?) dog if we assume we're behind.

Well best case scenario (they both have flushes, no redraw, none of your outs) you have ~ 23% equity (even though this is LA, at least one has a flush, right?). And best case scenario you can win $4700 for your $1600. 4700 + 1600 = 6300. 1600/6300 = 25%. 25% > 23% ---> Fold is the correct play/you need ~ 650 more in there to make it break even under best case scenarios/a very optimistic call.

Spoiler:
gamble tho

disclaimer: I'm a feel player on a bender atm so no idea if the above is right .

1600 + 1400 + 700 = 3700

so 2.3:1

+ .7:1 (3:1) if button calls

even a 25% chance of you having the best hand right now would probably push this to a call.

Even assuming the other player calls which would make the total pot $4600, You need another ~ $1000 to make getting it in profitable, assuming at least one of them has a flush.

Odds of boating up otr are ~22.5%. So you need roughly 3.5:1 implied.
3.5*1600 = $5600.

$5600- $4600 = $1000 more needed

sigh

edit: sorry mr. lee, i steered you way wrong, next time you are in that spot use 22.5% instead of 23%!

How about the times when we are up against a set and a flush leaving us FUBAR?
