Oh yeah, he seemed kind of like a dick in his limited table talk and general smugness, and I wanted him to either go on tilt or table change when I showed him the 4 (he table changed).
I love the thread; but I have to make the point, that you assume: 1) your opponent isn't great (just alright), and 2) he's not going to be out for vengeance.

Against yours truly, I wouldn't change tables (granted, where I play 5/10, ther eis usually only 1 table of it, when it goes). I would, instead ask for the seat change button, take my remaining 1350, move to your left, and go to war for the rest of the night.

Further, you just gave the free information that you can bet/4bet with a bluff... thats free info, and never good to hand out. Always, always better to leave people guessing. There are 10 players at most tables, and you just gave free info to all of them. Your style will get you all the action you could ever want, why reveal a card that nobody paid for?

Like I said, he seemed like a dick. And info can be used both ways. Now that he knows I can 4-bet light, I get to use that info as well and either level him by continuing to do it, or I can tighten my 4-bet range way up if I think he's a simpleton. As it turned out, he table changed. Next time I played against him he was incredibly passive against me and paid 3 streets off for pot sized bets after I raised pre with q7 in a hand and it ran out 88768. Against everyone else he was super tag, 3-betting pre and not paying off light.

Re: moving to my left and going to battle. It's not that simple. He needs that seat to open up. And even if it does, I don't battle anyone I think is remotely decent oop. I would snap take his old seat if he did that.

Anyways, the whole point of the thread was to confirm that people were 3-betting active unknowns fairly wide from the blinds and then folding almost everything to a 4-bet with these stacks. I wanted to make sure I didn't just run into the exception...

You're clearly a superior player. If you think showing him that card made him spew everywhere against you when playing against him later, then your psych-calculations are better than mine.

I tend to be more worried about giving free info to the 9 other players at the table.
