Re: ITT we berate cl0r0x70

You said that your opponents probably think you're a mark. Does anyone take this line as a bluff ever on this board??? It's a ridiculous line for value but it's an even more ridiculous bluff. You probably made a good fold vs his 33.

Re: ITT we berate cl0r0x70

Pretty read dependent spot. How much did the other 2 players bet when checked to? How much did you bet when checked to? If a HUGE amount then its possible he had QA or 33 and waiting for someone to catch up or take a stab but basically barring the combined field being basically maniacal a good reg should really just be betting as no PP or Ace is folding and ppl may still float, bluffraise so forth whereas checking just looks kind of suspicious. I mean does he think if one of his villians hits a pair or draw on the turn he can now extract a turn+riv bet with his monster?

More importantly, were you perceived as floaty or able to call light? If so then Id be a lot more suspicious of a bluff since he now might think he has enough fold equity (you have to fold 2 in 3 times for a 2x pot shove to be +EV) against a range with many low PPs/3x, Ace high and floats.

Re: ITT we berate cl0r0x70

Im calling. With his image and line I fully expect him to play hands like AA or KK in this manner in order to capture air flop bets and stack a villain with an underpair because it is such a bluffy line. I bet he feels that Q is not a big chunk of your range and even if you have one, you may question its equity unless it is specifically AQ. This being a typical online play he can easily slide it over into live play balancing (in his mind) the times when he CR and shoves with semi bluffs and air.

If he is capable of bluffing (and I think we agree the he is), then its a call IMO.

Are you suggesting that he is trying to get value from underpairs but to get non AQ QX to fold?
That is some wicked line!

I kind of like clicking it back on the flop to get him to spaz jam.

I really dont know what he is thinking, however at different times I can see players making the same move with each of those intentions (but separately, not in the same hand).

Its so weird that I think it has to be some sort of level, but not a pure bluff at all.

Why were you playing in this game? What was the motivation behind sitting at this table?

Also, given lineup, why are we playing deep as opposed to shallow?

Finally,
Why are we playing kqo, given limper, and a lot of 3bet possibilities?

I think you're exactly right. The would guess that the bet isn't big to Villain because he cares more about running someone over than he does the money.
