Hero has a long history with villain, and I 3 bet him preflop often as he opens REALLY wide, and he does not fold very often to that 3 bet, but has happened to own me over the past few sessions from those hands with complete garbage hands (54o flopping a straight against my overpair, A6o flopping an ace against QQ, etc...). Not sure he realizes how hot he actually runs against me, likely think he just crushes. He has 5000, I cover

Preflop, one limper EP, villain opens HJ to 100, I 3 bet AA to 300, he calls.

Pot is 635

Flop is J74

Check, Check

Turn is 3

Villain bets 400

I call (villain says out loud "Ace of hearts?")

River is 2

He bets 500

Who likes fold, who likes raising?

In my experience when people say "ace of hearts?" they often have that card themselves

^Yes!

Also you should bet flop. If he c/r you can fold since you have many cbet hands with heart in them to call c/r. If you want to protect checking range check back AhAx hands from time to time.

3-bet a bit bigger to exploit his tendency to not fold enough. I wouldn't worry about balance and just 3bet for value exclusively and go at least 4x. His tendency is unbalanced enough and he has shown over time to be exploitable in this way, so don't be afraid and go for it. I know it's scary, like playing 50% scissors in RPS, but if your opponents stubbornly overplays paper, you win.

bigger pre, bet flop, probably just fold river. any sort of bet sizing tells would be useful here (theres no way he doesnt have them) to decide whether you should raise/fold/call (all 3 can be on the table).

Bet flop, bet turn.

AP, fold. Raising here makes no sense

I like betting a little more than half on flop and turn, live reads aside.

As played fold (and his comment is just the icing on the cake )

Fold river.

Don't bluff whales. This guy will probably call you down with any heart.

I folded pretty quickly, and he showed me J. I'm guessing he either had the K or A to go with it. Obv I was snapping any nonheart river. Thanks for the responses.
