Not folding pre, open smaller, never folding turn, wp. I expect to see all oesd's, some fd's, few two pair combos, few TPTKs and a rare straight. You're over 50 % against that range so fist pump.
Change your hand into AQ and it starts get more close.

I think we are 'trapped' into calling here a lot ... but your V description never once mentions a raise or shove from him and what he had when he made those actions. This happens in a lot of posts .. Hero describes behavior and then V does something new in the post hand.
We assume draw or AA/22/A2 .. and this V has proven wide enough that we are good here 33% of the time .. call away.
I have made 4 calls this week based solely on the player making 'insta' action and the player was making a desperate move in 3 of the 4 cases and I won the 4th anyway. Players with hands generally think about their bets before making them. Sure you get the occasional nutted hand, but it's read dependent. GL

You can see by the results that many of your assumptions of his range are incorrect
Yes, I couldn't put QJcc into his range given his flop/turn play but even against reasonable range it's a call. Against unreasonable, seems even easier call. It's hard to make a range since a very few hands should played like this.
I agree thought it was a prty hi frequency call. But when villain is balancing his ranges well (which it seems like he's doing, seems clear he has put some thought into building a well balanced over bet shove range) than things change a bit
