V - Early 30s guy, clean haircut, nice watch and clothes and generally seems well put together. Pretty quiet, is listening to music, and carries himself like he's played this high before. I play at this casino a ton and have never seen him before.

Hero - 23 year old white kid, I look like a grinder and know everyone here.

V has been here like 1 orbit so we're pretty much in a vacuum.

$2k effective

CO posts BB (This is 5/10)

I raise to 40 UTG

V 3bets to 110 UTG+2

Fishy guy cold calls MP

I call

Flop (355) 852

I check

V bets 165

Fish folds

I call

Turn (685) 8

I check

V bets 275

I call

River (1235) 8

I check

V bets 530

What are you calling with here? Raising?

He 3bet your UTG raise so I would range him as TT+, AQ+ at the widest pre. For him to triple barrel that board after it looks like you have an overpair, I think he has QQ+ and maybe some JJ. I would call with KK+ only. Check shove AA+ as played. Looks like you have 99-QQ or AKss

You obv have KK, so not quite as annoying as anticipated...

You are gonna feel like a nit when you flat river, but it seems correct.

I might raise with KK also.

I guess jj is close otr and qq is prob a call
Read less c/r kk is probably fine?
Do you have a 4b range in this exact spot?

I think KK is close enough (i.e. we may not be ahead of his calling range) that we should just call and take a note about his 3b range/barrelling. It's pretty important to know if he empties the clip with AK or 3b 67s or something.

I think that if you have AA this is a c/r, and even with KK I have a hard time believing that you can't c/r and get called by worst.

If you have 1010/JJ/QQ, call.

it would be tough for me not to c/r KK and would work desperately hard to get some sort of live read

Naw, he has the case 8 and is wondering what range Villain wil put him on when he raises. Why else would he post this question?

Raise AA+.

How likely is villain to barrel off with spades or AK? I call my boats against someone I think is likely to barrel this spot.

Really have 0 clue about villain's game and in game he just sat there stone faced listening to music; no heavy breathing or anything out of the ordinary. Maybe that's a tell in itself but I don't like to account for tells in my decisions if the tells aren't very certain.

Don't know how likely he is to barrel with AK =( Just a generic 30 year old well groomed 5/10 player

Nope, no KK! What are you doing with 99-QQ? Call needs to be right 23% of the time to break even.

I think another thing to consider is this: If villain is competent (he might be given how he carries himself) my range is pretty darn face up here so that could be something to consider too. He might be checking back TT-JJ if he puts my range at TT-KK or something. I hate playing in a vacuum >.<

never bluffing in this spot.. ehh changed my mind prob calling TT or JJ+ prob raise AA+.
ur hand seems capped/face up... u didnt say his position but I'm guessing he's 3bing a bit more then normal w/ that sizing and IP. + such a good runnout to triple barrel if he was that type of player... I tend to pay off nits more then most people live tho

actually take that back would prob jam AK if i floated twice but doubt I would vs this guy

floating ak sounds pretty bad ... I think Tt-jj sound like pretty easy folds with a case being made to even fold qq... aa is a raise. you need to describe the villain more and explain whether he's capable of barreling light or has a history of value betting thin .. I think it he's betting jj for value on this river it's pretty bad bc Tt is the only hand that's worse that prob calls assuming this player doesn't make a ton or moves

on second thought I don't think you have kk or aa here ever ... 8x is more likely than those two hands because you wouldn't flat with this fish cold calling in mp...pretty sure unless you have an 8 it's a fold

calling with Tt and jj here is the same as calling with ak in this spot

I'd flat my entire range because kk+ I would 4 bet and ak I either cr or fold turn. If I flopped a set and somehow flatted flop I probably puke fold the river. Thankfully I'm not capable of doing that though.

I think it's safe to say you folded your hand on the river.
