UTG+2 Player is typically a 6max player who has a solid LAG game and a wider than standard EP opening range

Im perceived as TAG bordering on LAG

BB is also a 6max player who has a very similar play style to UTG player but does 3b more often.

So...BB CAN have a range here preflop but honestly probably doesn't. I would think it something like JJ+ AQs+ and maybe the random 54s or something but much more heavily rated towards the higher end. I also feel that UTG is flatting the 3b with his entire opening range knowing that he can go multiway.

My perceived range should be something like 22-TT, suited connectors and gappers and most suited broadway hands.

Im eager to hear opinions on flop and turn play as well as if we check behind on turn what cards were jamming on river if checked to. Also, what other hands could we have in our range that we check behind flop and jam turn once checked to....

Not sure I'd ever want to be in this place. I'd have made a move on the flop with the semi-

You need information on this flop on a moderate draw board. Spades, QJ, if we agree you have zero showdown value a raise here gets called by nut spade draw and overpair and a lot of hands fold.

Seems fine. I'd go ahead and bet for Like 33-55% here otf. You'll have tt/99 t9s/44 and some 10xs here id rather check a hand like qjs

Just fold pre first time around, there's no way you can profit here given exact positions unless the table is just really bad. Flatting the 3-bet is borderline, but probably still a fold.

If you really want to play this hand, 3b pre.

AP, check back turn. It's not a good spot to bluff

you want to have to have a balanced flatting range here ip. if you only flat hands like 44-tt here you get pretty easy to play against. so im fine with peeling 2.5x ip with a hand like this. 3b is fine but you dont wanna 3b this combo 100% or you will start bluffing 2 much.

Yeah I'm all for GTO/top of range/balance, but one thing people overlook is that it doesnt matter in this scenario if you actually flat SCs or not. People will automatically assign them in your range. The other way could be said. Hypothetically I could never flat a PP in this position, yet it would be assigned into my perceived range. So flatting for the sake of balance is bad. We flat because we think it's +EV or is neutral EV yet makes our overall range more +EV.

I don't flat 44-55 here, and I prob 3-bet 1010 esp if OR doeant 4-bet much

Pretty sure a good player can profitably vpip this spot. I'd lean towards 3betting. As played, definitely seeing a flop.

Call flop. Check turn.

Terrible equity when called.

If we assume 8 outs when called and that 3bettor always folds (obviously not true, but bear with me), UTG2 only has to call ~42% for the play to be BREAK EVEN (better than just mucking the turn without seeing a river). Playing a river in position is obviously going to be a fairly +EV spot for us as we can river the best hand and can credibly bluff certain cards.
