#5000 shout outs

Just a quick thank you to some of the posters who have enhanced my 2+2 experience. There are plenty of links I could provide to highlite their awesomeness and I'm sure plenty more will be provided in the future...

Tommy Angelo: His book Elements of Poker is a must read. His website is a must browse. His posts in the archives are a must search.

Limon: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...m-shyt-457839/ (also check out his essays).

Cero_z: http://archives2.twoplustwo.com/show...fpart=all&vc=1 (also check out every one of his strategy posts).

Ray Zee: The old school archives are full of Zee gold. His split games book still ranks at the top.

Jman28: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...isisted-88525/ (to this day, his G-bucks article is one of the best theoretical writings ever written).

MLG: http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...&PHPSESSID=and http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...fpart=all&vc=1 (always one to take the time when posting)

Strassa: http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...fpart=all&vc=1 (a terrific MTT poster back in the day)

VanVeen: Just find any one of his posts and tell me they aren't brilliant.

Quick shout outs to El Diablo/Ulysses, Matt Flynn, Srendi Vashtar, ML4L, neon, BobboFitos, Samoleus, MDMA, LearnedfromTV, riverboatking, fslexcduck, Ansky, MagicNinja, Lefort, cl0r0x70, CitizenJames, Proofrock

I encourage anyone to search the archives of these posters for some really terrific content. Each one has a unique approach to the game and style of posting and I have learned much from them all.

So thank you.

Best poker book I've ever read, except for one paragraph in Sklansky's book where he explains the Fundamental Theory of Poker.

it's a good book, but anyone who's ever sat down and thought about poker and meta and longterm for any length of time already knows most of it inherently

Re: #5000 shout outs

This book called High Performance Trading is pretty good. It's about trading, not poker, but almost everything in it can be related. A good book to read in a slump.

Good job.

Oh noes! I'm supposed to write a 5K post to give back to 2+2? What if everything I "know" about poker is wrong/bad?

Re: #5000 shout outs

Srendi Vashtar best known for his shania thread (http://archives2.twoplustwo.com/show...fpart=all&vc=1) posts this beauty- http://archives2.twoplustwo.com/show...n=&page=0&vc=1

BobboFitos talks GTO in heads up play (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...aising-163758/) after he talks about raising for information- http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...fpart=all&vc=1

LFT and Ansky post this gem- http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...fpart=all&vc=1

CitizenJames/cl0r0x70 decide to go toe for toe http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/56...le-one-393450/

cl0r0x70 (and limon) make some quality posts in this thread about live winrates http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...-20-nl-394497/ and this online winrate thread (with golden VanVeen posts too) http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/56...1000nl-219197/

Lefort tilts http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/56...tilting-43682/ and discusses the c/r http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...lat-qq-370918/

Anskys threads elicit good discussions http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...et-thin-94466/ and http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...mmerce-140639/

VanVeen and many others write paragraphs on the skill level of HSNL http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/19...rs-ago-223616/ while he talks about where we've come from/where we're going here http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...fpart=all&vc=1

Proofrock shines in one of my threads http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/11...diddly-308888/
