Villain is a decent pro on the LAG side of the spectrum. Probably views hero as a somewhat nitty pro capable of bluffs.

Please don't discuss sizing, I'm only interested in whether betting or checking turn is correct.

$1,500 effective stacks

3 limpers, villain raises to $30 on the button, hero raises to $110 with AA from the smallblind, button calls.

Flop ($240) 743

Hero bets $120, button calls

Turn ($480) 6

Hero? (seems like an argument could be made for checking my entire range here)

I don't like your sizing.

I think both options have merit as long as you don't fold heh. If he views you as nitty but capable of bluffs this is a spot where a turn bet by you looks really FOS because he'd expect you to get scared by the 4-straight and not bet you big pocket pairs. Alternatively if you think he's gonna barrel off two streets with you checking then by all means go into check-call mode. Think my preference is just to keep betting though.

check turn is good to give him a chance to bluff at it

imo you should always welcome opinions on sizing as that is the area where even the best pros can find ways to improve. probably the most interesting part of this hand is your decision to bet flop and the sizing. check turn is fairly standard though i dont like using that term.

finally, if any mods are listening, i know we are playing "deep" but this hand isnt really what most would consider a deepstack situation or problem. threads like this should be moved to LLSNL
