5/5 NLHE. I'm posting in this thread because there was a straddle ~70% of the time so it was more like 5/5/10.

v1 - 40 YO middle eastern guy. Plays very wide pre, A lot of limp calling from EP and opening from LP. Also defends pretty wide OTF but usually gives me credit OTT if I keep the pressure on him. He can get aggressive post flop if he feels like he has FE. Me and V have a lot of history and he knows that I know he's capable of bluffing, and I just caught him bluffing in a small pot about 20 min before this hand.

v2 - weak tight player.

v3 - TAG pro

Hero - 20s white guy. Most likely viewed by the table as TAG, but v1 knows I'm capable of getting out of line. It's been a quiet session, and I've just been going up and down a few hundred winning and losing small-medium pots.

Effective stacks 780

v3 straddles 10 OTB, both blinds limp, v1 limps UTG, v2 player limps UTG+1, hero makes it 60 in MP with TT, v3 calls, v1 calls, v2 calls

(260) 854r
v1 checks, v2 checks, hero bets 150, v1 calls and it's HU
(560) K -- completes rainbow
v1 checks, hero checks
(560) 9
v1 ships for 570, hero?

Why too big otf? Just barely over 1/2 psb seems reasonable to me, what sizing do you think?

With 50 already in, i make it more pre or less if i play only for set value for whatever reasons. 80 or even 90 ?

If 60 was standard that night, then i like it more.

Flop is fine.

K changes nothing for me -He plays wide, his most likely hand is a draw+a pair and i valuebet mit tens here every time. Bet/folding 66% of your stack looks bad, but so does limp/calling 56o pf. We have to adapt here.

River is a clear fold, your hand is face up and even if he does bluff here from time to time he has to do it over 33% over the time..

Yeah, pre should be a bit larger and flop significantly smaller. Betting 80-120 works out a lot better for you on the flop, as much of the value of betting your hand is in protection (likely there are 3 overcards and a gutshot out) and the effective stacks are very shallow, allowing you to bet your nutted hands for that size and still easily be all in by the turn or river. It's a classic bet-sizing mistake in these shallow straddled pots to fail to account for the smaller SPR.

I definitely call the river as played, but if you were planning to fold on this total blank (only 99/98s got there) then I prefer bet/folding like 170 on the turn for protection/value and to show down your hand.

same as Renton only 99/89 got there OTR.
if he had a straight the 9 does not change anything.

let s go for the primary level of thinking you checked the K as my 66/77/56/57 do not look good vs your range (AK, unweighted by your check, even if u could check for pot control - but u can totally have yourself 66-77-TT+)
i take the chance as psb = my stack anyway

AP it is a story of levelling for imo
