Ya I said to call too and I still think it's a call regardless of results.

I think it's a good fold.

It's pretty funny how after seeing the results everyone all of a sudden changes their minds.
The real funny part is that you could have posted the results on the first spoiler, but nobody hesitated on clicking on it before giving the opinion!

For me the speech (and probably more importantly the laugh) make this a fold.

It's a leveling spot though vs a described "good pro." In general, the speech from random fish is super strength. A good player knows this, so he may be weak while doing it. If he knows that you know that, he could be strong. And so on and so on. Until you know what level he is on/how you can correlate his tells its hard to make your decision based on this one piece of the puzzle. Idk something seems off to me about his hand but I could be getting leveled. Happens regularly

Because people always post results in spoilers in the op.

Posting results in OP pretty much guarantees you will get worse discussion/feedback than had you not.

Results don't really give anything away IMO. I (for one) only compliment folds that were incorrect.

I think this is a fold because there are no 9x combos that float the flop + float turn that are not FHs OTT... atleast not from generic TAG pro.

That plus the time elapsed before he showed a card was simply him desperately trying to get you to change your mind.

I would also lean towards a fold but would a "pro" really show half of his winning hand when an opponent is tanking? I know it is live poker but you fold a hand that strong on the river to a real "pro" you are going to get exploited all day long. I would never show a 9 when I actually have a full house in this spot. It is just stupid in my opinion. Now it is not so stupid if he is bluffing and you are tanking and he makes a desperate attempt at influencing you to fold. A call cant be that bad here. Your betting looks like an overpair afterall. Really interesting spot to say the least.

GRUNCH: I play with dudes who show cards basically all my life. Its a timing thing, its a dance. based on the timing provided this is a snap fold. if he shows 30 seconds earlier before you opened your yap,and if you had shown no classic folding tells (lifting your cards) EZ call.

even from an antisocial dorks standpoint its a fold. a real tag bluffs here against another pro so infrequently that even if he shows you a bluff you give him a little round of sarcastic applause and STILL made the correct play.

fold IMO. Think his sizing just looks like value all day. I mean who really bluff raises river 4x the bet when less usually accomplishes the same thing. Also the act of showing a card usually suggests comfort and isn't done when bluffing. Most likely that he thought you were going to fold and decided to make you change your mind
