I d like to know which hand is correct to call an overshove here

best table ever: few nits easy to read, few pros with correct attitude (give action) and v1 ultra LAG fun player

History V1 fun player asian. raising blind 5x bb, raising with any2 any position and keep betting 5x bb on any flop and sometimes turn, some nits at the table are waiting for him.

he did get some actions. (he always calls 3bet 15bb when ppls play back to him and call a 15bb cbet to fold on a significant turn bet) eventually he raised CO 3bbwith J3s and called 3 bet at 15bb by bb. called on flop bottom pair +fd, and put in a big bet on turn with 2 pairs + fd with J3s and bb pro folded

history with hero: Hero called on the BB with 69o, called his cbet 50 on a 120 pot (4 players hand, 2 others fold), flop QT8.
pot 220 after my flop call, turn 5, hero bets 110,, he raises to 220, hero calls
river pot is 660, river is a 4, hero bets 270. he snaps call with JTo
(I know i played it awful)

another hand: this time hero called ip mp raise with JJ at 30, (he is bb) 4 players 120 in pot flop 964 with fd, check to hero who bets 80, he calls oop ,
turn pot is 280, turn is 4, he bets 80, hero calls 80.
pot is 440, river 7. he bets 350, hero tank calls and win with JJ. he had something like T6o


Come here a hand before mine:

he opens utg+1 50, no callers - a tight LP puts it 300. he snaps fold (he doesnt like to have huge over 3bet because he likes to play flop/turn.


Next hand: My hand, I am 190 bb deep approx 1900

I open XX, he opens UTG 50 and I immediately 3bet in MP to 300
he calls 300

flop KT5 all diamonds, (600)
he eventually overshove for 1600

Hero?

can we call with JJ-QQ with one diamond?
can we call with AK without diamond?
T + a diamond?
or KQ with Q diamond? or KJ with J of diamond?
can we call with AA without diamond?

what can we call with?

Was the tank bc you were considering raising or bc you like slow rolling?

sorry I need to tank because not as pro as you

fun player is just as condescending as saying fish. use recreational "rec" and add a description like lag/tag etc

to summarize:

Rec super LAG - loves to make move too often (not every hand tho) . float a lot OTF : 70% call OTF head s up - 150/200 is not a problem in 3bet pot and 70% call OTF 3 way
But does actually understand board texture and hand ranges. - during a moment at beginning of session he did some blind raise - he raises/call a raise with 70% of his hands any position - and play 80% of hands (leaving small limp)
do not 3bet often.

Hand before mine he raised to 50 EP - reg tag just arrived at the table reraises to 300 (2k effective) he folded

Actual hand he raises to 50 EP again i insta raise to 300 (1900 effective) in LP
He called pretty fast, and open shoved on a 3 flush flop KT5

Obviously I had an amazing hand to call and i scooped the pot.

His range here is not KK/AA and he could eventually have come to the flop with 2 diamonds (flush) or 1 diamond (flush draw).

So my question is, if i didnt have Set or Flush, . What range of hands make a correct call here?
- AA with fd (obvious call?)
- AKo with fd (obvious call?)
- 2 pairs?
-22/33/44 Pocket pair + FD?
- 66/77/88/99 pp+FD?
- JJ/QQ+ FD
- KQo with fd at Q of course
-KJo with fd at J
- JQo with one card for FD?
- AKo without fd?
- AA without fd?
- KQo without fd?

don't make it 300 pre. I understand what you were thinking, but even the biggest idgaf gamblers will feel like you are mocking their intelligence by doing this. The rest of the hand is live tells/judging how steamed up the guy is.

@EC: this is because I am sure that he will call the 6x 3bet with wide range
and I actually had KK so insta called his shove.

my usual 3bet would be 2x to 4x his raise with no callers - depends on position and stack depth. (where he would call 100% 3x and sometimes 4x even oop - at this depth of stack)

however my concern is what is acceptable or not to call with if i didnt hit trips.
eg AKo with Ad? or QdQx ? Naked AKo or Naked AA?
