5-10 - Value on Paired Boards

Normal 5-10 game. I'm viewed as Lag, other players are pretty bad overall. I recently just lost a big pot flopping top set over bottom set and getting quadded on the turn. I could appear to be tilting. Villian in hand is guy who's on heater and just quadded me.

3 limpers and I overlimp button with 67o.

Flop (60): 4c4s5h

Villian leads $40 from bb, I flat button ($1K effective)

Turn ($140): 8d

villian bets $100... a)call; b) Raise?

I flat here. If we raise stacks go in every single time we are beat. When we are ahead often times villain folds to the turn raise or finds a fold to your river value bet. I prefer to flat and then make a decision on the river based on his action.

Raise.

I don't see villain showing up w/flopped FH when he bet size 2/3s of pot on flop first to act 6 handed.

If villain is on a heater he's calling a big raise with any 4.

I prefer a raise here as well. Give villain a chance to make a move with 99+ and his air hands as well as hope he spazzes with a 4. We aren't deep enough to fold at any point from the turn on so we should attempt to get max value those times when we are ahead.

definitely raising vs most villains but calling and raising most rivers isnt terrible either.

Against an avg. recreational villain I would raise. Against anybody thats decent/really good I just flat turn and flat most rivers. I agree that if stacks go in here on the turn we're very likely to be beat except against the weakest of competition.

Limping pre>raising imo, but only because you are on the button. Normally I would rather flat turn since it isn't too likely villian has a big hand and may think he can run you over. However with your dynamic, I am raising to 335 and stuffing river assuming it doesn't pair.

Merely because of the fact that you seem to be tilting, you should raise ott to set up a shove otr.

You're always raising here. However it depends also on the player you're hu against - if you really think he'll lead out again after the river then call
