Re: $5/$10 - Top 2 IP Facing Turn Lead

Is he passive/bad enough to flat with overs pre? Stove a range of JJ-AA (24 combos), 79 (12 combos), j8 (16 combos), all sets (5 combos), and maybe 1 combo of AT. I'm not in front of stove but you beat 36 combos and lose to 22. It obviously gets closer if he raises AA/KK/QQ pre. Pretty close but I'm probably not folding unless I can get some kind of super comfortable read. You have to be correct here 1 in 4 times which I think you are.

I yawn and muck easily. This is ONLY a value range IMO from this type of player and it isnt top pair. Our hand seems huge, however vs only a tricky slowplayed type value hand i think we are smoked.

Re: $5/$10 - Top 2 IP Facing Turn Lead

The only strongish hands we beat are JJ, T8, 98, 97, 88 ... you said he's passive, wouldn't he c/c those on the turn?

Unless you got a read that he was floating you, I think you have to find the laydown here.

How about the turn? (I didn't like calling but felt I had to - the river seemed like a pretty easy fold though)

so you're saying the turn is an easy fold? (which I don't totally disagree with)

Why call the flop? Agree with you about folding turn in this situation.

Re: $5/$10 - Top 2 IP Facing Turn Lead

I'd be more worried if this guy was a good player. Our only read is he is bad passive with a wide range pre? No way am I folding this on river. I mean I've folded in spots like this but you have to have a solid read that he would never do this with worse considering the odds you're getting.
