I think a lot of players I perceive as nits are because they will only call with medium strength hands OTF but only call a narrow range of those on the river, raising the strongest hands with some freq.

I think it is +0EV to barrel w/o reads. It could be really good or really bad, but the info of his sort of double barrel calling range (because if this works once I'm going to keep pouncing) makes it an easy double barrel to fold out hands between A high and AT.

If he calls the turn I will probably give up, but I think on A/K/Q rivers a 3rd barrel is sometimes really tricky.
