Not that often, but the table was playing passively, there were 1-2 people sitting out and since it was a must-move table, people were coming and going.

However, it's not impossible to be a good live player and occasionally limp. With deep stacks and good post-flop play, limping in under certain circumstances is defensible and while I'm not advocating the move, I'd say you haven't played a ton live if you automatically think someone sucks because he limped in. This isn't online 6-max. The player in question happens to work his image perfectly, as he may look like a weak-tight fish but as I stated, he is a good hand reader and will call down light and be correct.

In retrospect I probably should have folded flop because I put the villain on a strong range (combo draws, sets, 2 pairs, air <5%). Turn came a 4 so the board is 754ss 4 and I was planning to check/call but villain checked behind. River came a 2s and I check/folded to a $300 bet.
