V = old rec player , standard abc player for most part, not much history vs him, he's 60 year old Hispanic guy.

UTG straddle 20 - (1200 stack )
CO raises 60 - (1500)
Hero SB - 99, raises 210 (1500 stack)
BB (old Rec player) thinks and flats, co calls (1700)

3 players to Flop: 10h 5c 3c (Pot: $630~)

1. Is our 3b w 99 good / bad ?

2. hero c-bet or not ? Board seems decent for my range + my actual hand imo.

I'm thinking $265 would be good sizing ?

No reads on CO make this is a pretty pointless HH imo. The answers you're going to get with this little info given will mostly be 'flat pre'

I think the hand is fine. I mean if you have CO reads provide them but if someome asked me my standard line from the sb facing an unknown CO open in a straddled pot with a hand we want to vpip my answer is almost always going to be "raise".

Do you have the 9?

Its unfortunate that an old man's cold calling range is always going to be 99-QQ but at the same time for the rare times its KQs+ or whatever you need to cbet and i like your sizing suggestion.

pre is standard sb v co w 99. need to go bigger tho. 260 - 300 works well here.
flop id be cbetting my whole range for 25-33%
whats the turn

Sorry, left out CO - he is a tag reg , almost never gets out of line

I like the suggestion of bigger pre since we're OOP and want to minimize our positional disadvantage.

260 seems pretty solid

I opted to check/fold this flop.

Action: Hero checks, BB bets 1/2 pot, everyone folds.

As someone said earlier, I think BB range is so heavily weighted towards big pairs and AK/AQ, that our c-bet seems like it would be burning money

BB / CO always continue with hands that beat us and folds hands that we beat, so hard to get value

On the other hand, if flop checks around and turn is a 2-10, I think a delay c-bet from me would be better since I now have gained added info on their hands and I have a high % chance of taking the pot down on turn on most blanks.

Thoughts ?

Don't like the idea of 3b bigger when we're OOP and we're gonna hate the majority of flops

Think cbet and check/evaluate are both fine. If we check and BB bets, I'm prob folding. If we bet and BB calls, I'm shutting down. If only CO calls, id either bet again or x/c

Boyrico?? How are you 3betting then just check folding on such a great flop???
I mean what's our range?? 99 1010 JJ QQ KK AA AK AQ. We are crushing this board with our OOP 3bet range. We have to be Cbetting this flop with 99 for balance. And even if we get called we need to consider firing turn. I mean its going to be pretty hard to call us down 2 or 3 streets with A10 or even JJ. Espicially against a solid ABC old timer. I like about 350 on the flop.

What is an old man standard ABC player cold call 3b range?
How much of this range is folding to two (even three) barrels?
If he has AK/AQ is he betting flop?

I understand you want to be balanced but imo balance is super overrated in live poker, especially against old men
