5/10: bottom set, best play on turn ? 5/10: bottom set, best play on turn ?

Like the big thing is he never has 99, but I've seen like super nitty players limp pf here with KK or QQ because they want to see if an A hits before they put any money in and THEN after folding for 4 hours they are supposed to fold when this wizard raises the flop?

And sometimes we get over set, it is what it is.

Villain is button and overlimps with QQ, KK and AA? I don't think so, so I have to discount the possiblity that he is just blasting off with overpairs. I think his range is HEAVILY weighted towards the exact hands that beat you....44, 88 and 65 of diamonds.

If he bet something reasonable like 400, we are obviously calling, but with a 2x overbet, this sure seems more weighted towards 44 and 88 that is scared of the straight/flush draws that are possibly coming in on the river. You can play very exploitatively against super nits, and that means folding most of the top of our range, which I think includes 22 here. I think you can call with 44.

Two pair are never in his range. Super nits are always folding 87 on the flop to a bet and raise. Overpairs are discounted because he's button and likely going to raise with his premium pairs, and if he doesn't, he's not blasting 2x pot on the turn with them.

Versus people that do this regularly I'm calling the clock on any action they take > 30 seconds for barring if it's a huge pot.

As for the hand, bleh. Not many times I'd consider folding a set, but if your read is correct and he is a super nit then I don't see how we're good here. I doubt a super nit jams the turn with his combo draws after cold calling flop. I fold.

Btw, super nit like never has QQ+ here.
