This is a pretty horrific spot to run a bluff.

This may be the worlds most epic spew.

Like everyone else said limp/fold either pre or post

Better plan: wait for middle pair+ and then stack off 1k w the guy (I'd be willing to go broke trying that). About once a year I try to bluff a middle age gamble asian; the following cage walk reminds me to not try it again (for at least another year).

This thread may be the funniest pure poker thread I've ever read.

Re: 5-10 bluff wars TO THE EXTREME

OP I dunno why everyone thinks they have to have equity to bluff a fish.

I think just 3bet some % since he has bull****yke with air is standard. The line you took makes senes if his auto-continuation bet after he raises is a wide + polarized range but I think I like a raise on the turn better now unless you are going to c/rai almost all rivers (insane play).

@DaBowski

I am suggesting to Never bluff some fish. Esp the asian gamble degens. Losing a stack w a perfectly executed bluff to a pair of 8s really sucks.

I only bluff a fish when I don't believe they can put me on a bluff and I'm confident that there range is wide. If they end up showing us they have no fold button then adjusting is super easy lol.

We get the last bet in. He prob doesn't have Qx or pp, plus he prob wouldn't call pp. If he is polarized and continues to bet a super wide range of air on the turn then bluffing should be profitable.

Ofc you can make monies in future hds by "waiting for a better spot" or making hds or w/e the fuq you nits want to call it. We're elaborating on whether or not we can make more money in this hd. This is a cash game and we always have the option to reload.

Your play (starting with pre) is a losing one. Is that simple enough?

I don't always bluff, but when I do I'm going with it.

I bluffed a passive-fish here and my holdings were pretty irrelevant:

I open to 20 in MP with 99 (650), SB fish calls 15, BB folds.

Flop (39)
KT5
SB checks, I decide to check since a protection bet is thin IMO.

Turn: (39)
4
SB leads for 30. fml... right?

I call 30 looking to check it down on blanks and maybe rep something if river completes SD/FD.

River: (100)
A
SB leads for 45. I decide he is FOS and I raise (600) to 235.
