5/10 Live Poker

V1 is fishy short stack (165)
V2 is a rec player who is a semi reg (1100)
Hero - solid image, (2000)

Straddle to 20 UTG by v2. Folds to V1 who jams all in for 165 from HJ. I'm in the BB with Ah Qh.

I decide to flat bc I don't mind playing with my hand vs V2 oop with a strong holding

(Thoughts on 3betting pre ?)

Flop: Qc Qs 3c

Hero checks. V2 bets 250. Hero ?

Thanks

If you call there is one psb left? Why would you ever do anything else? I mean if he 2-3 outs us then so be it but this guy is betting into a dry side pot. He gets to have the lead for one more street.

Agree with the above. Just call the flop with AQ on that board. Hope he fires a turn barrel and if not you can shove the river.

Preflop is a little weird. If you're putting the 165 in, what do you do if you get reraised?

I would just iso 3 bet pre.

Getting the straddle to fold any playable medium strength hand is a huge win ..eg 99 or JTs

I don't know why you checked this flop..I would just bet the flop .. bet it small enough that is tempted to continue with his pairs ..he most likely has a pair

As played I don't see why you want to just call ..this is a low spr spot in a protected pot ..unless I thought my opponent was way too aggro I would check raise all in here.
