Your relatively short and vills are too young to always have. Furthermore I justify calls like this by the tilt I save myself by nitfolding winners.

Meh, if villain shows up with AA then this thread doesn't exist. Not sure there is a correct answer but I am sure that it is both close enough and rare enough to have a negligible impact on our long term results. Fun to discuss academically though so there is that.

Agree 100%. This may just be my spew terribadness talking given the fact that people seem divided here, but it's impossible for me to fold KK pre for 100bb. Ship, if he has AA, that's poker.

Cannot agree this thread doesn't exist if villain has AA. Most threads are just standard coolers anyways (that wouldn't be posted as interesting spots if villain didn't show up with the top of his/her range). And if you "correctly" fold KK pre, some people need to know about it!

How deep are 4 and 5 bettors? Only way I fold is if both are 4k deep I think.

Do you play these stakes? Also if the straddle isn't regular people are going to be much looser as well. If it's normally 5/10 and just has a $20 straddle this hand I'm much more inclined to call. If it's a regular 5/10/20 game it's a little closer but I'm still not folding. I also don't get why it's a "massive" 5bet. It's a bit over 100bb and the only sizing the 5b can be is allin. Also given that action and normal regs I probably fold but given the descriptions (and a lot of guys who look like regs are just spewy regfish who are never folding QQ/AK ever and sometimes even felting JJ here) I think folding would be a mistake.

I'd much rather get it in in a game that always plays this big than a game that happens to have a straddle going. I find people don't get it as light as they 'should' with a straddle.

The fact you just got to the table in a game that was going for a while makes it an easier call. You don't know what is going on, people could be stuck, the guy with $2000 could have had $6000 30 minutes ago and free falling. Things get crazy sometimes in these games after people get stuck and tilted. You just don't know and like others said it's just 100BB's which isn't that much in live games that often play deeper.

Now if the game had just started and everybody is still in a fresh state of mind I'd lean towards just folding.

I just re-read my response, DGAFs/Zachvacs, and the OP.

I didn't realize its 5/10/20, I was assuming 250bb deep.

Also @Zachvac, in NorCal, the games are weird in that people rarely 5b/4b without "having it" so to speak, but to be fair, where I play at are like the nittiest games around so YMMV when facing 4b/5b.
