MP ($600) is young guy who has been opening very frequently and for smaller sizing than rest of table has been. He got stacked recently and rebought short.

CO ($2100) is a young middle eastern reg who has been talkative. Has not been sitting long but seems like a standard "solid TAG grinder" type but not a total nit.

Hero SB ($4000) is a young guy who is visiting town and never played with these people before. Should be considered complete unknown to both Villains as I've been pretty card dead since they sat down.

MP open $65, CO raise to $200, hero in SB has A2hh.

Online 6max this is a very common 4bet bluff spot for me. MP is certainly not stacking off with his entire wide opening range, especially after just getting stacked. CO has position and should have a merged 3b range vs the loose fishy MP. I also block AA and so should not be facing a jam often and should also have a profitable bluff on a lot of flops if we get called. The bad part of course is that we are OOP.

What do you think about that thought process? How would you think about sizing?

Obv its easier to fold pre but just assume we are thinking about spots to push edges.

Need a bit more reads on CO3! ranges, play is ok/standard given correct dynamics

i don't think this an auto 4b online either without stronger reads.

like online you can make it 450 here and they know what it means. live you need to go bigger to not get flatted super wide. i'd also expect to get flatted by hands as strong as QQ-KK...you may not have as profitable a cbet.

If your 4b this combo frequently hj-co-sb then your likely waaaaay to wide- esp in 6m 100bb where ur just gonna just shoved on a lot
It's prolly fineish in this game since 4b ranges are nearly non existant and you'll get tons of credit

CO is described as "standard TAG" and is 3 betting a guy who opened a 30bb stack in MP. I think assuing he is "merged here" is optimistic and 4 betting here seems pretty bad.

like you are cold'ing here soooooooooooooooo much if you have A2s in range. 6-7% in this spot which is way too high. and i assume youre only stacking QQ+/AK...so folding like 50% to shove. you said you're online 6m player just run the math on the hand lol.

id also expect to get jammed on unless you have very nit image. if this goes to showdown it will be brought up when you play with this people in 3 years and you won't be able to take this spot much.

Fyi i do not do it every time with Ax suited online or live. Definitely have to randomize bluffs like this.

ya was only talking about this one instance...you made it clear in OP that you don't always do this. i do think live ranges are very tight

i had almost the exact same situation come up about 1 year ago (new casino, no one knew me, reg 3bets a shortstack, i cold 4b AK so i can gii v shorty and thought reg would be light). reg flatted kings lol. the cold 4ball...strong play...it's fullring ranges are strong.
