5-10-20. Hero is viewed as LAG and probably a station. Villain from hand # 1 (we'll call him villain #1) is the worst player at the table. VPIP around 80-90, not aware of position at all, will pretty much never fold to a 3 bet preflop if he's the original raiser. Villain from hand # 2 (villain #2) is the best player at the table, but is quite TAG. Has good hand reading abilities and situational awareness.

Hand # 1. Effective stacks are about 3K

Preflop, one limper UTG, villain makes it 105 from from UTG+2 (his range is any two cards that are close to each other or match), folds to me in the BB, I bump it up to 355 with QQ (I probably could've sized even bigger, but whatever), only he calls.

Pot is about 750

Flop is 652

I lead for 410, he calls

Pot is 1570

Turn is 7

I check, he checks

River is 2

I bet 650, he min raises me to 1300

Hand #2

Effective stacks are about 4K

Preflop, I open UTG+1 to 75 with KQ, villain #2 calls next to act, button calls, villain #1 happens to join us from the BB, and 4 people see the flop

Pot is about 320

Flop is Q103

Checked to me, I bet 175, villain #2 calls, and villain #1 tags along as well.

Pot is 845

Turn is 6

Checked around

River is K

Checked to me, I bet 300, Villain #2 raises to 725, folded back to me

Can I make an exploitative fold in 1 or both of these hands? Am i good about 1/5 in either of the hands? Thoughts on all streets is appreciated.

Hand #1: Bigger pre if he never folds to 3!. I'm playing for stacks against the whale. If we size larger OTF, ~600 or so, it sets up a ~PSB OTT.

Hand #2: If the game is tough with a lot of 3-betting, then fold pre. If not, then opening from EP is good. Flop and turn are fine. B/f or c/c river are both fine. I'm folding to V2's raise on the river, and feeling pretty good about it.

1) sigh call
2) I don't see what in the world we get value from by betting other than the random KJ/garbage 2p from the fish which he may bet himself. I'd much rather check/eval for that reason I think. As for the raise, I'd have to start leveling myself really hard in order to come up with something that he's bluffing with. If you have any inkling that you may be good here, there's something going on that isn't included in the description of v2

Hand 1) Pot sized 3 bet is a good start against a whale, but if he's calling 425 at the same frequency, make it 425. And bigger on flop too; there's a good chance we have the best hand and the best draw against a guy capable of having any piece. As played, call the raise and expect to get shown a 2.

Hand 2) Any merit to checking flop? I'd fold to a raise here, we have lots of other things that can call here.

What are you doing on the turn on hand #1? That is imo a very bad check. Sigh call.

2)fold.

1 is def a sigh call

2 is pretty close. Any solid player is capable of knowing you capped your range when you check turn then bet 1/3 pot on the river, however his sizing is rather small so I wouldn't be shocked if he was under-bluffing for this sizing. We're likely close to the bottom of our bet/check/bet range as we'll have KK/QQ/TT/AJ.

Are you opening QTs utg1? Are you playing AK like this?
