Hey guys,
Haven't posted my own thread in a while. This hand was on bodog, I apologize for the HH formatting, I'm writing this up from memory.
Dynamic / Stats:
Hero - Been playing active, especially relative to the rest of the table. Running around 24/19/3b of 8 over 55 hands. Haven't shown anything too out of line, as most hands were won/lost without showdown.
Villain - Playing tight over 55 hands, around 18/14 with a low 3b - around 3 if memory serves.
The hand - effective stacks $620.
Hero gets dealt KK utg and opens to $18 (Quasi loose player in blinds - 36/19, may impact perceived EP opening range).
Folds to villain.
Villain on button 3b $18 to $54. Blinds fold.
Hero calls. (My standard is to 4b here, but based on dynamic and reads of villain I felt like I would only GII with AA if I 4b here. Flatting to keep worse in.
Flop ($117) - KhJh6s
Hero checks, Villain bets $70.95, hero calls.
(Arguments can definitely be made here to c/r. Especially when he's betting what at the time felt somewhat strong. I assumed his strong range would bet most turns anyhow, and he may continue bluffing if he has bluffs)
Turn ($258.9) - Qd
Hero checks, Villain checks.
River ($258.9) - Ac
Hero ?
I think on this particular run out there's merit to bet small / fold, bet small/call, bet bigger, c/c or c/r.
