For opponents we know nothing about, what's a suggested button (raising) range?

And what's an adequate calling range in the bb (to a standard pf raise)?

Depends on your flop cbetting frequency. If you're a 100% cbettor, then I suggest playing kinda tight at 70%, but if you have a decent check back strategy, then I suggest playing nearly 82%, which is what I play. The hands that may or may not be immediately profitable in a vaccum are hands like J3o, T4o, 94o, 84o, 74o, 64o, 43o, and 32o. However, some would say that the inclusion of these hands in your range might increase the profitability of your entire range. I don't necessarily agree nor disagree, but I can say that it takes an observant opponent to recognize these hands in your range and adjust accordingly. If your opponent isn't observant, then hands like 64o will just be a waste of time and possibly a waste of a fraction of a bet.

For defense, probably any two suited, and all but the worst hands like 83o-, 72o, 62o, and 52o, should be called. Whether or not you 3 bet sometimes preflop isn't a "matter of style" thing, but instead it should be a conscious decision based on your opponent's tendencies.

This kind of strikes me as apropos because it's a bit of a benzo-head type of approach, yes?

The typical starting ranges are surely available with little more trouble than asking this question in a forum, but going through the work of trying to derive them yourself - and then studying the derivation of them by something more experienced than you is what's going to teach you something useful. Especially something useful vs the kind of opponents you'll be finding for any type of money online. And afaik lhe hu live isnt really a thing, is it?

Getting good at poker in 2015 is going to require, like, really a lot of work, amigo.

and btw alprazolam ftw ainec

Last winter, on my birthday no less, I played all night heads up against a wicked nice guy for 4/8 at Foxwoods. They reduced the rake to $1 a hand for us.

Two years ago i used a strategy which is open raise 87% and c-bet 100%, and 3bet from BB 50% and donk 100%. It i only raised or folded on the turn. So aggro and so hard to play against.
Not using it now, the game is now almost solved. kkk

Yup. With modifications depending on opponent (less defend if opponent has a vast BTN limp range and only raises top 30% or whatever, more defend if your opponent cbets like 45%, etc).
