Playing online for the first time since Black Friday, on a new site with a new name, and huhu pros are still scumbags that need to be slaughtered. Literally. Thoughts?

But seriously, they're horrible people. Really. I'm sure there are of plenty of huhu players that are decent humans, but it somehow really seems to attract the scumbags. Do you deny this?

This is how it goes:

Too bad you only get 30 hands a day ... despite sitting at 10 tables across 5 limits 15 hours straight.

Really too bad, because huhulhe is a very interesting game. Why can't you all be like hasu or somebody like that?

You the dude on Merge I played 30-60 for a couple of hours the other day. Quite good new name, had me down a couple k but obv I had to keep playing till I was up a few bets and run lol. So does it still count as scummy if it takes that long? If not what is the time boundary for scummy running or otherwise? Ofc not needing to mention that any hands vs someone you're better than is good, if they're down then up then run that's identical for your ev than any other result. But ofc you know this. Still gets you though somehow doesn't it. Why the new name here too

Nope, not me, don't play there.

There is no cut-and-dry "time boundary", but you're scummy if you basically don't attempt to compete in good faith (or alternatively, just sitting out immediately or after 2 hands). It's not just the act of hitting-and-running by itself. That's one thing. These villains will play 1 or 3 hands (always an odd number so they can take the last button, obviously), and if they're ahead, they'll quit, and if they're stuck, they'll play until they are up a couple bets and then and only then SNAP sit out. It's like a graduate course in Advanced Hitting and Running for Nitdouches.

I have no idea whether I was +ev or not against this particular villain (he was pretty solid/good), but it's not particularly relevant, other than the fact that a high percentage of huhu superbumhunters would rape their grandmother for 2 Sklansky bucks.

And of course it goes without saying that these guys are completely ****ing awful for poker.

These statements are completely contradictory. Either these nitty bumhunters are playing for ev, in which case I suspect they sit out when they realise you're good however much they're up or down, or are with all the other fish 'hit n runners'. Which is a meaningless term imo.

And this being the case that ev is king, why do you get so worked up about them leaving only if/when they happen to get up a bit? Have you never had the scenario where they don't ever get back to +ve relative to their starting stack, which turns out to happen a surprisingly high % if you were both equal and they lost first hand (nice bit of maths gives the proof and actual %, look it up)

I'm sort of in agreement that bumhunting nittyness has had it's day and I don't like people still trying to stetch out a living solely from that and that it's 'bad for poker' (open to all sorts of interpretation), but I can't fault anyone for playing how they choose, obv excepting recognised scumminess such as only playing sb, if they think that's best for their br.
