Oct 2010. In early April 2011 IGT ordered them off the floor. A few weeks ago they started reappearing.

IIRC the bot was designed over several years. It was then taken up by IGT to convert to a box and distribute in May 2010 and was approved by Gaming in Oct 2010.

I've played this thing a little bit and if it's beatable it isn't for much and only by experts. I've heard a fair number of people say that they think it plays badly and that they are going to make a killing against it. I think most of those people are in for a rude awakening.

It beat me at 10-20 small sample.
Weird things, play like no human and yet beat nearly all of us. I saw some what would normally be big fishy plays (during one 20min stretch it pretty much bet whenever checked to, which I successfully managed to exploit a few times with TP+), but then that's balanced with so much unorthodox stuff you never know where you are and end up calling down k high every hand cos he might just have check raised that river with 4 high..
Few of the Bellagio regs seem to put in a lot of hands during their breaks from the tables, would be v interested in their longer term results..

I thought so too. I am fairly sure that it was using literally the exact same starting hand chart as the 2008 Polaris... at least for opens and blind defense. I also felt that it played quite a bit like Polaris. It really pissed me off that this thing exists.

So OP, are you going to divulge what you were up to jamming and jumping around between machines?

Edit: For some reason the hand where he called my 9 high bluff with 10 high will not show. For a while I was convinced this thing was beatable as you can see I found some interesting folds and calls that convinced me I should not be playing it.

Clearly, the thing is drunk.

This thing has to be rigged. On the second hand, folding the set of As is totally unjustifiable. The machine has to know the river card does no pair the board, its a very easy call otherwise. +/- 5:1 odds to make an 11:1 call to give you 2nd or 3ird nut hand and you only lose to 2 perfect cards? This is a ridiculous fold. The other 2 folds are very hard to stomach, bit the middle hand is a dead giveaway.
