Moving up, what there? Is this lucky streak so far? Moving up, what there? Is this lucky streak so far?

OK. I pretty close to move up to 15$ sng's but get confused what to expect there and higher.

There is some advices what i get about higher limits...

"Just a friendly advice. If your goal is to dominate midstakes SNG's/cash games don't bother. Its completely dead. The edge a 5star reg has over a 4.5star reg is absolutely minimal and there just isnt that many fish left as theyve moved to other games (hypers/plo). The game is just pretty much solved and its relatively easy to become a decent player."

"If your goal is to having fun and crushing the 7's its def doable for a ~20-25% ROI."

"Don't get lot of hopes about FL HU, there is only regs"

I am right now parallel learning 6max and thinking to mix hu and 6max together but thinking about if it really dry higher then 15$ sng's?

Also wondering and confused for long time what about that 20-25 roi O.o I am getting totally lucky streak or what with theses results below where i get over 40% roi?
(almost all PS slow speed sng's)

1.50$-7$

Just 7$

$15 is about the start of the levels where the average fish is too aggressive rather than too passive.

I play cash games as my main game type and will sit usually all day at tables between 2/4 and 5/10. I play SNGs only for fun because playing them too often would eat into my allotted poker time per day and not allow me to rake enough to keep my high rakeback%. (and playing HUFL cash without a high rakeback is BR suicide - or at least hourly rate suicide).

Accordingly, when I want to play for fun, I want to play now, rather than be content to wait around all day like I am happy to do for cash games.

Your quoted post above is correct in a sense that the games are pretty dead at above $30 (and even a bit slow at $15). However, to get around that, I play across three sites and just open up an empty SNG at all stakes between $15 and $100 on all three sites. That usually has me in a game within 5 minutes. Once playing, I close all tables except the $100s because the waiting time to get into one of those is pretty long unless you want to fight a reg for it. So once I am actually waiting at a $100 table, then I don't leave and they play as infrequently as the cash tables anyway (although even at $100 the rake generation for good rakeback is v. low).

If you only have an account at Stars, you will still find open tables at $15 SNGs most of the time. At $30 and above though, you are going to have to be prepared to wait your turn to then sit and wait.

The only warning I have about moving up levels in SNGs is that you need to have a strong enough game to make good regs not want to play you. When you move on to a new site or move up a level, some of the regs at that level either wont recognise you or want to test you regardless. If you have any significant holes in your game then they will keep sitting at your table even if you don't voluntarily sit at theirs.

Not so much at $15, but only as high as $50 you can get into turf war problems. Since SNGs are not a big part of my income, I don't care that much if there are no $50 or $100 tables open. However if there are, I will usually take a seat. I had a period of close to a month where a reasonably strong reg would play me to be able to sit at the $50 table every day. He seemed to want to "own" the $50 non-turbo table. After he sat down, I would just open up a $50 turbo table, let him take the non-turbo and then play him for the $50. He got off to a very strong start for the first week, winning basically 7 of 7 from memory. By the end of the month he was $450 down and I haven't seen him since.

But anyway, the point is as you go up levels, it is not always possible to avoid other regs.

As you are moving up to around $100 as a minimum, I would recommend against blocking your results from sites like Prolabs and Sharkscope (assuming you have strong winning stats). Strong results freely available might be enough to keep strong regs away from you and the fish never check that stuff anyway.

Most players at $100 and above have their results blocked which is frankly mostly just for privacy reasons. Pretty much any reg knows a another reg sitting at $100 and above is going to be a tough match.

One other word of caution, but which I don't think will apply to you. I used to play NLHE 6 max cash games (over 1M hands at low and mid stakes) which is to say I was far from a poker noob. When I first started learning HUFL, I started at $3.50 and $7 SNGs on stars. My table selection was horrible because I was constantly playing regs. However I was able to win at those levels even against regs and back then I had a pretty crappy understanding of HUFL basics. However during that same period, I always got crushed whenever I attempted the $15 tables. Only about 20 or so attempts, but I would have only won maybe 5 of the 20. Once again, I was playing regs (like an idiot) but the standard of reg between $7 and $15 was pretty big (this was only a bit less than 12 months ago).

From my experience the standard of non-reg doesn't change much between $15 and $100. Its just that as you move up, the fish get more and more aggressive but they are a bit better than some of the total agro spewtards you see at $7. Their aggression is still over the top, but they are responding to your response to their aggression and at least trying to mix up their play (even if those attempts are way outside GTO).

Oh and I really don't know if your ROI will continue. I would say not because it just seems too high to maintain. I am only 6% averaged over stakes between $15 and $100. But like I said, I don't play that many SNGs and only have 576 sample size which is next to meaningless.

Thanks for your time writing, it was really useful to read.
Hoping that my game will be good enough to move up and fight for place there, but in any result to happen will work with my game as often as i can

You are psyching yourself out. Lots of anxiety in your post. Going up a level is best way to find out where you stand. Keep it fun, like the first time you played. If the games not fun its difficult to continue.

Certain amount of truth to that. But for me the biggest jump in skill for both regs and randoms has been from $7 to $15. After that there is hardly any difference up to $200.

However not making a big deal out of it is a good idea. Just quickly move back down if you run bad.

Pretty small sample size. Don't expect that that high of a ROI to continue.
