PM me if you're interested.

Also, as Bob147 said, game start. It'll let you get a few hands in short-handed before the table fills. You may end up with some pretty skilled opponents, though. I'm deliberately NOT table starting my FR stakes level because I know some practiced reg will come beat the living day lights out of me!

I think that the rake will be punishing starting tables at low limits over the long haul, but if the table fills rapidly you won't be out too much, and you'll have some short-handed experience from it. Think of it as an investment!
Thanks Beeker!

I'm also down for some practice SnG's. anyone can PM me for $1.50 games at stars.

we could also do HU play money in the 2+2 micro's home game area.

Can you point me to the micro's home game area? I'm starting to wonder if there wouldn't be interest in a small league or something. I know that somebody (might have been Bill1600?) asked about HU in a different thread in the micros.

I'll try posting a query there in a day or so (when I would have a chance to respond to questions). If someone wants to post it sooner, feel free!

The best way to learn is to play regs at 3/6. There are a few of them on Merge. One of them even has a nickname resembling my 2p2 nickname.

Re: Learning Strategies for HU LHE

A guy about a week ago told me, "Man, I don't know why I keep playing this game. I'm losing a ton."

I said, "I guess there's only one way to learn."

He replied, "Yeah, but there's two ways to stop losing." I LOL'd in real life but not in chat.

He kept playing, though.

Someday maybe!

My entire SNG buy-in wouldn't even cover a small bet with you!
