I was just wondering if you'd experimented with that at all.

Had it not been established (read P Newall setting out the maths) that limping pf was probably incorrect, however 'unusually' it reacted?

I agree it must be taking in a ton from the slots degens, easily making up for the rumoured actually experienced guys beating it for a proper sample size + costs.

Edit: to make this relevant to the thread - none seen in a couple of Welsh casinos. Don't laugh we have semi tough £2-4 NL going on a weekend night!

Spotted 3 more at Monte Carlo last night.

The machines at the Aria have $200/$400 limit I believe.

In fact there was even one hand where it did not raise my pf limp when it held Kx.
I think raising a limp up to about k4o is pretty borderline vs most opponents.

The Cosmopolitan has them, and they accrue points. I sat next to a fellow playing $20/$40 who had nearly 15,000 session points. For reference, 20,000 total points will jump you from the introductory silver card to their gold card.

Aliante Station has 3 brand new ones put in..Aliante is located at the edge of the civilized world so the machines are spreading out as far as possible..I believe at some point they will become self aware and the war against the IGT machines will begin..

I would be interested in helping put together a master list of all IGT bots in Vegas, and maybe even across the country.

When I'm in town I play probably 40hours a week against it, and I can honestly say that after several hundred hours I'm up a considerable amount playing it mostly at 20/40. That being said, I've been an online mid-high stakes LHE HU specialist for almost 10 years... and honestly I feel there are probably only a few dozen people in world that can beat the machine with its current software build.

I play a little at the Red Rock, but I've located another bot in Vegas that pays at a full comp schedule (about $110/hr at 20/40 in pure cash comp plus mailer free play which can be another $500-$1000/mo) that I play 90% of the time. Add in the rate I'm beating it for off the top and it equals a pretty nice hourly rate.

That being said I worry about putting in too much volume at this particular casino and having them adjust the comp rate, so I'd like to put together a database of all the machines so I can spread the action around more. Just having all the top tier cards has value in itself (I got the Chairman card at Stations in 2 days from Gold Status and 0 points) for mailers offering free play and comped meals and rooms.

Last time I was in Vegas Ceasers properties lowered the point system significantly enough that they were not worth playing. Anyone have a list of props that have the machine and give out rewards?

Thanks

Cool idea. I'm assuming no one here has done anything obvious like social engineer the IGT sales dept or if they have they aren't letting on?

bump, any update on these guys, especially outside of Las Vegas?

as of last week:

removed from all Caesars locations.
Bellagio X (no rewards)
Venetian/Palazzo X (no rewards)

I thought Station casinos had them, checked Palace station - no machines.
Cosmo - removed
Riviera - no

I stopped playing these but I do still notice where they are.

Green valley doesn't have them anymore
Red rock still has them next to the poker room and it appears to still earn at least the full pay video poker cashback rate of 3 points per $12 played.

I also found a bank at the hard rock Tulsa but you had to also play the bonus game and the slot people there said there was no way they could turn that off.

I haven't scouted out Vegas locations much lately but it appears that they aren't in nearly as many casinos as they once were. But it appears they are starting to pop up more and more outside Vegas.

any st louis sightings yet?

I checked all the St. Louis(and the two in IL too) casinos in December and didn't see any.
Are you really sure you want to play against it? I just read the newer version is being dumbed down a bit: the original was beating everybody too badly.
Maybe the new one is vulnerable, but I doubt it.
