Heads-Up versus Maniac Fish

This is a game played today. Don't know if this should go under variance/bad beats, but here goes.

Note:- I'm playing the hands the way I am, because this guy has shown down at least 7 pots with high cards. I have ground his stack down to less than 400 chips around 4 times, and he still climbs back. These 4 hands consist of me ahead on all 4 flops, and two turns.

Aces and Tens aren't the old hand this guy plays, so any passivity and I'm betting, but any betting on his part here, I'm just flatting for pot control and to see showdown.

This last one is just sick. I can't not call with a large pot like that, and the hands he has been playing, and also my KK and him being all in.

The grind continues.

He is a maniac because of the way he played throughout most of the tournament, not to mention in one of the hands above he caps with 3rd pair, and in other occasions re-raises. Yes he does check that specific flop, but the purpose of the post was just to show certain hands in which no matter how much one can try, the guy still gets ahead of me after the flop in 4 occasions. Thanks anyway :-)

You are clearly being result oriented, I highly recommend fixing this state of mind.

Re: Heads-Up versus Maniac Fish

Not sure what the big deal is. In almost half an hour, the guy hit a 3-outer, two 5-outers, and a 2-outer.

If I were you, I'd be more concerned with how so much money went in on the turn with one pair hands. You happened to have been right in one instance, but that doesn't mean you were playing well overall.
