Interesting, I hadn't thought of that. I've heard that that phenomenon is at work with airlines piling money into different fees, so their prices look good on aggregator websites.

Count me in that group, absolutely no offense taken.

My wife's and my stay at the tower suites a week ago was not cheap, but it was—I do not say this lightly—literally the best hotel experience I have ever had. I rented a car and paid $18 for the private valet. My only regret is that I probably should have just skipped the car altogether because we left so little.

Surely the pay to park has affected two entities: the uber/lyft/cab services would certainly increase in usage.

The other matter; are the rental car agencies more or less viable due to the pay to park ? Are the rental car agencies, in Las Vegas , going through or will they go through tough times ?

The next step is for the rental agencies to form alliances with the casinos so that if an auto is rented this allows for free or discounted parking at their allied casinos. lol

Hertz has a partnership with Wynn and dedicated parking spots on their property. Hertz customers won't have to pay to park, but I'm assuming the Wynn location is pricier.

Things are in movement; I wonder if any of the other casinos have a similar relationship. Hertz is ,from what I've seen, the highest price rental agency and so I wouldn't expect Fox to follow suit.

Don't count on that. Every hotel has a car rental agency on the premises, and unless you know something about it already, I wouldn't assume that their customers get any favors.

I'm a Wynn fan too, and don't think the rooms are overpriced. Here's a money-saver for you though, should you care: the Tower Suite rooms are identical to the regular rooms. The only bonus you get from going Tower Suites is the dedicated check-in and valet. And now that they're ****ing charging you for valet, that's not as much of a benefit.

I will never pay to park anywhere in Vegas. Ever. Period. They will never get a penny from me.
