It's not always champagne and roses. I open for $20 with AKcc, one caller and then a 3bet to $70. I flat out of position and the other player lets her hand go. Flop is AK8hhx. I check, he checks behind. Turn Jh, I check and villain bets $105. I call. River 9d, I check and he bets my remaining $205. I reluctantly call it off to be met by the bad news - a turned set of Jacks.

Limped pot and I complete from SB with 9Tdd. Flop is T97ssx. I check, BB bets $50, one caller and I make it $220. BB jams, having my remaining $300 covered. It's close but I think my fold was right. BB shows J8.

They used to just be used here for the rake drop, but now they end up in regular play although players tend to only ever have one or two at them at any one time.

BB 3bets a MP open to $60 and then bets $55 on a 638ccs board. After the 9s turn, BB bets $125, MP jams for $494 and BB calls. BB has 77 and MP has 94.

In a $1200, 120 BBs each pot?????

Good news and bad news time....

The good news is that I am on the final table of Planet Hollywood Goliath Event #70.

The bad news is that it is only a $130 tournament with just 55 runners. Only 6 get paid and first is $2K.

But I'd willingly accept it
