Since the death of Danny Gans - Las Vegas has been left without a high quality singing impressionist unless you put Gordie Brown in that category but his show is wider than just singing impressions, he does a lot of non-singing impressions like a Rich Little or Frank Caliendo. I consider Gordie an impressionist first, singer second. A female impressionist has been playing at Bally's since the summer - her name is Veronic and the show is called Veronic Voices. She is a protégé of Celine Dion and most people who have seen her show have loved it. Veronic is really a singer first.

A friend of mine is also a singing impressionist and his is also a singer first and though he does non-singing impressions, he hardly does them anymore- his name is Finis Henderson and he has been around the business for a while mostly headlining on cruise lines, but never got that big break - well because he lacked a backer like Celine Dion. He is starting to do some things in Vegas. He has opened for Jay Leno several times at the Mirage and is doing so again on Friday Sept 20. The next night on Sept 21, he has his own show at Red Rock with a band - the Leno opener is just 20 minutes to track, the Red Rock show will be 75 minutes with a band. He is as good as Danny Gans and I hope people come to see him. Tickets are $25 plus taxes and fees. Show is at 8 PM.

He does an impression of a guy who does impressions?

I know this is an impression and not an impressionist like what you're talking about, but the guy who does Prince at The Quad is off the charts good. He actually sings, and puts on a crazy show.

No he does not do Danny Gans impressions, he does many of the same acts Sinatra, Sammy etc - but also some stuff Danny did not do and Danny did things he does not do - my point his quality is that good.

Please tell me this is a level and that you really did not misinterpret his statement that profoundly.
