I'm going to be in LV from June 2 - 18 and would love to play basketball in the mornings before events begin. Does anyone know of a good place to play indoor/outdoor? Is anyone else interested in getting a group together?

Ideally, around 9am. Most events start at 11am so this would give us a solid hour.

There is a single backboard and hoop out back of the Rio where the dealers take their smoke breaks and the additional portapotty restrooms are located. I am not aware of any nearby showers however so that may be in issue unless you have a room at the Rio.

jus saw a court off Tropicana by the Orleans (so 1-2 miles from rio) ill try to check it out/put up a pic sometime soon... an 9 is a lil early tho lol

I'll be there 6/1 approx between 4-6pm @ rio to register would be down to play then could prob get a 3 on 3 with that hoop @ All American Daves I assume. Just need to coordinate/confirm enough people in here.

Go to the UNLV gym. They have a bunch of courts. Games get pretty good in the afternoon.

Indoor courts. Definitely not free. If I recall (I don't live in LV anymore ) you can get a monthly membership for 30 bucks or so.
That also gets you access to the full facility, which is top notch.
It's basically next to the Thomas & Mack, so close to the strip as well.

For those interested in trying to get some games/meetups going, PM me and I'll get a Doodle in place. All interested can enter in their availability and I'll put everyone's contact info in there.

I'll be out there this year from June 1 - July 5th so I'm thinking I'll get the monthly membership at UNLV as Katana1979 suggested.
